The Innkeepers of the James Gettys Hotel invite you to stay in one of the last remaining historic hotels in Gettysburg. Restored in 1996, The James Gettys Hotel is the perfect blend between a European style boutique hotel and a traditional bed and breakfast. With only twelve suites the inn offers the coziness of a bed and breakfast, but with the added privacy of your suite.

Each suite is tastefully appointed with its own individual stye and decor featuring a sitting room, kitchenette, bedroom and private bath. It is the perfect home away from home, a place to unpack and completely relax while visiting the surrounding area.

Keeping with the tradition of a bed and breakfast, you will be served a continental breakfast basket daily, which includes fresh baked muffins, breads and coffeecakes all made in house, paired with seasonal fruits. This too is served in the privacy of your suite. Within each suite you will find a kitchenette complete with microwave, refrigerator and two burner stove. Coffee makers and fresh ground coffee as well as a tea kettle and British imported teas are a great way to start you day.

Each evening during your turndown service you will enjoy our signature dark chocolates in the shape of this hotel or our homemake monster sized cookies.
